Ardscoil na Mara aims to provide all students with opportunities to develop skills outside the classroom in both extra and co-curricular activities. The activities provided for in the school include the following:

Basketball, Camogie, Gaelic Football, Soccer, Volleyball, Badminton, Tennis, Rugby, Swimming, Equestrian, Rock Climbing
Both students and teachers give huge commitment to extra-curricular sporting activities in Ardscoil na Mara. These activities allow students to nurture other non-academic talents they may have e.g. leadership skills, as well as helping create a sense of school spirit and community. Participation in sporting activities also promote a sense of wellbeing and has been proven to aid mental health. Ardscoil na Mara competes in the above sports and students have represented the school at County, Munster and All Ireland Level in Hurling, Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Golf, Badminton, Squash and Swimming.
As well as the activities listed above the school facilitates student’s participation in school trips e.g. history, geography, science, drama, gallery visits etc.
